Feast of the Holy Rosary: October 7th

Dear Friends of Saint Ann and her Shrine,

Sometimes the rush and events of everyday life cause us to lose our peace. We worry and hope for so many things and we forget the serenity we can find in the simple yet important things in life. This is especially true as our country deals with the current Covid-19 pandemic.

We at Saint Ann’s Shrine are so impressed that so many of you continue to pray the Rosary! We love hearing your stories of devotion to these uplifting prayers and look forward to hearing from more of you! We encourage those of you who may not make a habit of praying the Rosary to reengage and dedicate time to doing so, especially in these times of uncertainty. Our Saint Ann devotees have a strong faith!

People come to Saint Ann’s Shrine before daily Mass to pray the Rosary and experience the joy of doing so with others as they seek Saint Ann’s and her daughter Mary’s powerful intercession. Our friends know they are in a peaceful and sacred place where they can pray to God for their own prayer intentions and those you share with us to be prayed for. You can join us from wherever you are in praying the Rosary at 11:00AM every day!

The prayers of the rosary remind us of what we believe and why we’re here on Earth. Pope John Paul II said: “When we pray the Rosary, we become open to the grace which Christ won for us by the mysteries of His life, death, and resurrection.” The Rosary, as meditation with Mary on Christ, should help us to be grateful for what God has done in our lives!

Your prayers, thoughts, and generous gifts help support Saint Ann’s Shrine and the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament’s mission of sharing God’s love and devotion to Saint Ann. It is your prayers and your generosity that make continuing our mission work possible! Please send in your petitions so that the Blessed Sacrament Community can pray for them.

Above all, continue to pray. Join us in praying the Rosary throughout the month of October! May each rosary you pray bring you closer to Jesus in all that you do!

Saint Ann, Mary, and Jesus: hear our prayers!

Yours in Good Saint Ann,

Fr. Roger
